Overview
Principles and advantages of the dual-station design
The dual-station design of the JNM series molding machine is one of the key factors in improving production efficiency. This design allows one station to perform molding while the other station handles core setting, enabling parallel processing of molding and core setting. As a result, two upper molds and two lower molds can be operated simultaneously, significantly enhancing production efficiency.
1. Improved production efficiency: Core setting time is a critical factor affecting the molding cycle when core setting is involved. The dual-station molding machine allows molding to proceed at one station while core setting is performed at the other, effectively reducing the impact of core setting time on the overall molding cycle and substantially increasing output per unit time. According to practical application data, the production efficiency of dual-station molding machines is approximately 50% higher than that of single-station machines.
2. Enhanced resource utilization: The dual-station design allows for more efficient use of equipment operating time, reducing waiting time and idle periods.
3. Increased production continuity: The dual-station design enables continuous molding and core setting processes, avoiding the frequent start-stop cycles typical of single-station designs, thereby improving the continuity and stability of production.
4. Equipment features: Equipped with a mold retention device to keep the template level, ensuring high-precision mold stripping. The spacious working area accommodates two operators simultaneously, improving worker efficiency and operational convenience. The design is less susceptible to foundation influences and is easy to install.
5. Molding speed: The dual-station molding machine performs molding and core setting simultaneously. The molding speed can reach 18-25 seconds per mold (without core setting), while with core setting, the molding speed is 20-30 seconds per mold, including a 9-second core setting time.
